Since 2003, we have served our community's adults and seniors. We provide socialization and health services to our participants and are a source of respite and support to their caregivers.

Our Mission

The program will strive to maintain participant's independence and capacity for self-care and to promote their social, physical, and emotional well-being, with the aim of preventing inappropriate or premature institutionalization.

Our Goals

  • Address the health needs of the participants.
  • Address the emotional, mental, and physical needs of the participants.
  • Provide these services in a safe, clean, and stimulating environment with qualified staff.
  • Improve the quality of life for the participants and delay or prevent the onset of institutionalization.
  • Treat each participant as an individual with dignity and respect.
  • Achieve and maintain the highest level of self-care and independence.
  • Provide well-balanced nutritional meals and snacks for participants.

Our Legacy

Florence Gray Soltys was an expert and advocate for older adults. She was a professor at the UNC Schools of Social Work, Medicine, and Nursing. She was also the president of Senior Care of Orange County, Inc., where she helped establish this adult day health center. The center was renamed in her honor in 2010.
