I’d like to start by saying we hope everyone has an amazing long weekend and a great holiday as well. This week as been one for the books! We have dived into the book of Luke where we learned more about Easter. We studied the bunny and learned how he originated in Germany. Took a trip around the room “filling up each other’s baskets” with compliments and well wishes to take us into April. Nurse Gary shared with us very interesting facts about nutrition, bringing in roasted carrots for us to try (very befitting to the holiday).

Today however, tilted the scale of fun when we split into two groups, the Men vs the Women for our Easter Scavenger hunt! The two teams had a list of the same items to collect throughout the building and bring them back to their team’s pink or blue basket. Both teams had a captain who had to help guide their team around to find all ten items on the list, once found the team then had to work together to wrap their basket and tie it, presenting it as a gift. The men’s group had the most items correct and tied their basket the fastest declaring them the winners. We ended our day with the Easter Bunny hopping by to hand out stress balls and spread laughter with childhood memories.
